Sweetest Heart of Mary Page
St. Albertus Page

St. Josaphat was founded on June 1, 1889.  It was the third Polish-speaking parish established in the city of Detroit. It was founded in response to irregularities and disagreements in the neighboring parishes of Sweetest Heart of Mary and St. Albertus.  On February 2, 1890, the first combination church and school was dedicated.  In 1901 this late Victorian Romanesque church was completed.  Seating capacity is 1200.

Mass is celebrated at St. Josaphat every Sunday at 9:30 AM according to the Tridentine Mass in Latin.  See St. Josaphat web site
